Born in Italy in 1990, Antonio Cortesi completed his education in cello and chamber music in the conservatory in 2015.
After graduation, the young artist continued to develop himself with master classes in various European countries. He started to be accepted as a good performer thanks to the scholarships he won with many competitions.
Cortesi took part as a cellist in large and small orchestras and chamber music ensembles such as the World Youth Orchestra, Young European Musician Orchestra with the auditions he won.
The artist has started to focus on her soloist career in recent years. A cello made in 1920 by Custode Marcucci, dedicated to use himself by the talented cellist “Fondazione Teatro Rossini”.
The successful Italian cellist Antonio Cortesi is attanting of chamber music concerts and festivals in many cities of Europe, especially in his own country.
